New Iranian historical series featuring over 250 actors

Iran has offered the new historical series, 'Mahyar Ayyar,' featuring over 250 actors.

Set in the Safavid era, the 35-episode series is directed by Seyed Jamal Seyed Hatami.

The ambitious production features Kamran Tafti as the lead.

The star-studded cast includes Matin Sotoudeh as Khatoun, Behnam Tashakkor as Isfahan's Chief of Police, and Siamak Ansari as Daroogha (Sheriff).

The series marks another addition to the growing collection of historical dramas produced by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
